Double shaft shredders

The industrial double-shaft shredder is a device used for crushing of large-sized waste (plastic products, pallets, glass, bricks, leather, rubber, tires, municipal waste, etc.) It is suitable as a shredder for incinerators, landfills, collection yards and so on, or as part of recycling lines. The material is crushed between knives monted on two shafts rotating at different angular speeds. Between the opposite knives, the material is crushed and cut into pieces. The size of the shred is determined by the width of the knives and the distance of the tearing noses (teeth) from each other. For large-sized pieces, the crusher hopper is supplemented with hydraulic pressure, which pushes the pieces so that they are grabbed by the knives of the shredder and the waste is crushed.
