For company Continental Automotive, we have manufactured and supplied crushing equipment with accessories for crushing plastic waste containing steel and non-ferrous metals. The knife prismatic mill GH 400/400 30 kW was chosen as the crushing machine for these materials. It is a standard knife mill in a more robust design equipped with prismatic knives (cutting edge angle 90 degrees). The stressed parts of the crushing space are covered (armored) with caps made of HARDOX 500 material. The mill has the sound – proof covering. To prevent the escape of noise from the hopper, a double cap is placed in it, through which the waste is dosed into the mill.
Due to the dust, the mill is equipped with a dedusting device that sucks the dust out of the dedusting chamber located at the outlet of the mill.
The crushed material falls dust-free through the turnstile onto the angled belt conveyor, which transports the material to the container.
